Wiggles on stage in the opera house

EMMA, Lachy, Simon and Anthony, the hardest working group in children’s entertainm­ent, are bringing The Wiggles Big Show Tour to the National Opera House on Thursday, August 10, at 2 p.m.

They will be bringing the Wiggly dancers with them as well as Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Featherswo­rd, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus!

Youngsters will get the opportunit­y to dance with Emma as she performs Irish, ballet and other dances. Listen to Anthony play his guitar, banjo and bagpipes. Do the actions with Simon as he sings ‘Simon Says’, and ‘if Lachy falls asleep’, call out ‘Wake up Lachy!’

The Wiggles have been entertaini­ng children around the world for over 26 years. In Australia, children who once saw The Wiggles are now bringing their children to the shows. They are the hardest working group in children’s entertainm­ent.

Last year they performed 330 shows in 150 locations to over 330,000 fans, making The Wiggles the most successful children’s entertainm­ent group.

The Wiggles Big Show will feature some of their most-loved children’s songs including Hot Potato, Fruit Salad, Do the Propeller, Rock-A-Bye Your Bear and Five Cheeky Monkeys. The Wiggles TV series was launched on Monday, June 27, 2016, and is currently aired on TV3.

Ready, Steady, Wiggle! was also snapped up by Netflix, taking it into more than 190 countries around the world.
