MUSIC CLASSES

The Monamolin/Kilmuckrid­ge branch of Comhaltas will resume their classes in Monamolin Community Centre on Monday, September 11, from 6 p.m. till 7 p.m. The teachers would be delighted to welcome back all last year’s pupils and new pupils will be made most welcome. TRAINING SCHEME

Career Opportunit­ies Training Scheme (COTS) Kilmuckrid­ge are holding an opening evening on Tuesday, September 12, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Cosher Centre beside the KMH. COTS is a WWETB (formerly Fás) training centre located in Kilmuckrid­ge. We are offering the opportunit­y to complete a Level five in Retail Practice with additional subjects: payroll, and book keeping.

This is a fulltime course scheduled to commence in September 2017. Aimed at people in receipt of a social welfare payment between the ages of 18 and 35. IRISH DANCING

Irish dancing classes resuming after summer holidays on Monday, September 4, in KMH Kilmucridg­e from 5.30 till 6.30 beginners always welcome. For more details contact Deirdre at 087 6487684. Coffee morning.

Kilmuckrid­ge Family Resource Centre are running a coffee morning on Friday, September 15, at 10 a.m. to midday in the Crosses. Tickets €3. Door prize, raffle.

Line Dancing will be held in Seán Ógs at 8 p.m. on Mondays from September 4.

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS

Circle of friends is returning to KMH On Tuesday, September 5, at 7.30.p.m. for the new season. All members and new members are welcome. Enquiries: Phone 086 6007543.

PARENT/BABY/TODDLER

The parent, baby and toddler group will be returning Tuesday, September 5, at St Joseph’s National School in the first pre-fab beside the black gate, it will be at a new time of 10 a.m. till midday. Hope to see you all for coffee and chats its €3 per family.

BRIDGE CLUB

Come play bridge every Monday night at 7 p.m. at Seán Óg’s Bridge Club, Upton Court Hotel, Kilmuckrid­ge. Partner required. Results for Monday, August 28: 1st: Jo & Podge Ussher; 2nd: June Coogan & Peter Buttle.

Kilmuckrid­ge to Gorey every Wednesday at 9.40 a.m. passing through Cahore 9.55 a.m., Ballygarre­tt 10 a.m., Riverchape­l 10.10, reaches Gorey approx 10.25 a.m. – leaves Gorey at 1 p.m. for return to Kilmuckrid­ge. Kilmuckrid­ge to Gorey every Saturday 12.40 p.m. reaches Gorey approx. 1.25 p.m. – leaves Gorey at 17 p.m. for return to Kilmuckrid­ge.
