Second win for Rangers DIVISION 1

-

ROSSLARE Rangers look like they could be capable of returning to the top flight at the first time of asking and on Sunday they collected their second win by seeing off fellow relegated side Kilmore United 2-0, with Rob Cousins and Niall Walsh getting the goals.

St. Leonards also have six points on the board after edging out Shelburne 3-2, with Ken Cahill, Seán Ryan and Mark Rossiter hitting the net for the saints.

Forth Celtic are another side with the maximum haul after overcoming Curracloe 3-1 with goals from Ryan Busher, Ciarán Redmond and Paul Underwood.

North End’s second string matched their ‘A’ team’s tally, beating Ferns United 6-0 with goals from Dylan Walsh, Brandon Sinnott, Ciarán Carthy, Seán Mullins, P.J. Doyle and Tony Crosbie.

Substitute Bobby Keating bundled home from close range on 88 minutes to earn Moyne Rangers a 3-2 win over Campile.

Glenn Buckley gave the Enniscorthy men the lead after half an hour but Eric Banville headed Campile level 20 minutes into the second-half.

Pa O’Rourke then got on the end of a Ryan Hadley cross and powerfully headed to the net to restore Moyne’s lead on 70 minutes.

Campile looked to have rescued a point when Banville fired in his second with five minutes remaining but Buckley had the final say, grabbing a late winner.
