GAA CLUB NOTES

Although there were many games being played over the recent days, none will knock the under-12 girls’ football of the team of the week pedestal. This panel of Warriors defeated Glynn-Barntown to bring home the Premier division football cup.

The boys under-12s can feel proud too, with both teams getting into semi-finals. Alas, a two point and a four point defeat ended their excellent run.

There are still under-12 hurling, under-14 football and hurling, under-16 football and hurling and under-18 football knock out games to go. Both camogie and ladies’ football have games too. So please keep training and supporting our teams. See the sports pages to see the results of both adult hurling teams knockout games last weekend.
