Four County Wexford settlements made with Revenue Commissioners
Four Wexford businessmen appeared in the latest revenue defaulters list which was published last week by the Revenue Commissioners.
William Lynch, 6 Court Street, Enniscorthy made a settlement totalling €47,682.33. This included tax of €35,381.28, interest of €1,686,67 and penalties of €47,682.33. The matter arose from a Revenue Audit case relating to the under-declaration of income tax and VAT. He was described as a medical practitioner, landlord and company director.
Aiden Murphy of 7, Lower Main Street, Gorey made a settlement totalling €177,875.40. This included tax of €85,142.88, interest of €28,875.36 and penalties of €63,857.16. The matter arose from a Revenue Audit case relating to the under-declaration of income tax, VAT and PAYE/ PRSI/USC. He was described as an undertaker and restaurateur .
Chuan Feng Wang of John Street, Gorey made a settlement totalling €89,268. This included tax of €45,401, interest of €9,817 and penalties of €34,050. The matter arose from a Revenue Audit case and related to the under-declaration of income tax. Mr Wang was described as a restaurateur and fast food provider trading as New Yum Shang.
Bu Luan Chen of Whitemill Road in Wexford town made a settlement totalling €56,768.46. This included tax of €28,192.46, interest of €7,423 and penalties of €56,758.46. The matter arose from a Revenue Audit case relating to the under-declaration of income tax and VAT. He was described as a fast food provider trading as Panda House.
