COFFEE EVENING

Monamolin Parish Committee/Council are holding a coffee and cake sale in the community centre on Friday, October 6, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Money raised will go to parish funds and will be used for the maintenanc­e of Church, Community Centre and graveyard. Tickets will be on sale from committee members and local shop. All support will be appreciate­d as well as donation of cakes, scones, buns, tarts, etc.

CLOTHING CILLECTION

Monamolin NS will be running another clothing collection on Monday, November 13. If anyone wishes to leave bags of clothes, shoes etc into the school at any stage you are welcome to do so. We appreciate your support in helping us raise funds for the school.

WELL WISHES

Get well wishes go to Michael Owens, Garrydanie­l, who is recovering after an opperation. From all your family and friends Michael.

DEATHS

Sincere sympathy is extend to the Doran family of Monagrena on the death of Mary’s brother, Richard, who passed away during the week. His burial took place on Wednesday, September 20, after 12 o’clock Mass in Riverchape­l.

Sympathy also to the Donohoe family of Court, Monamolin on the death of their mother, Bridget, who passed away on Sunday, September 17. Her burial took place on Wednesday, September 20, after two o’clock Mass to the ajoining cemetery.

Sincere sympathy also goes to the Cousins family, Monagrena and the Kehoe family, Garrydanie­l on the death of their sister, Bridget Furlong, Legnalough, who died during the week. Burial took place on Friday, September 22. May they rest in peace.
