SCHOOL OPEN EVENING

The annual open evening will take place in Colaiste an Atha on Thursday, October 26, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. All fifth and sixth class pupils and their parents/guardians are especially welcome. Please come and take the time to meet some of the fantastic students who attend our school, to speak with our teachers and to view our beautiful school premises and buildings. COFFEE EVENING

Many thanks to everyone came to our coffee evening on Friday, October 6.in aid of Church funds, To the people who baked to the ticket sellers to the people who looked after the tea and coffee on the night to the children who gave us great entertainm­ent on the night with their music. A big thanks to everyone.

CLOTHING COLLECTION

Monamolin NS will be running another clothing collection on Monday, November 13.If anyone wishes to leave bags of clothes, shoes ect into the school at any stage you are welcome to do so. We appreciate your support in helping us raise funds for the school.

BUFFERS ALLEY GAA

Tony Doran’s Book Launch – Tony Doran’s autobiogra­phy ‘A Land of Men and Giants’ (editor – Liam Hayes. Meath) will be officially launched on Monday, October 23, at 7.30 p.m. in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorth­y. Congratula­tions, Tony.

Heart Screening – Buffers Alley GAA and camogie Cardiac Screening Clinic on Saturday, November 4. Cardiac Screening is aimed at reducing the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in Ireland and promoting a healthier lifestyle. The screening is mainly targeting people aged between 12 and 35 years. However, people over this age avail and benefit from the screening as well. Bookings can be made online. Club fundraisin­g BINGO – will be held on Thursday, November 9. at 8 p.m. to raise funds to purchase additional GAA coaching equipment for both our Primary schools (Court NS and Kilmuckrid­ge PS).

Jubilee Awards – The Buffers Alley senior hurling champions (1991 and 1992) will be honoured on Sunday, October 22. (county final day) in Innvoate Wexford Park.
