The Wexford branch of Down Syndrome wishes to thank everyone who gave so generously to their recent church gate collection in Monamolin, amount collected and banked was €255 – 00, Thanks to the collectors for all their time and help.

PIONEER MEETING

Pioneer Mass will take place in Kilmuckridge on Tuesday (tonight) November 7 at 7.30 p.m. for all past and present members of the PTAA everybody welcome’.

GAA CLUB AGM

The annual general meeting of the Buffers Alley Club will be held on Friday, November 17, at 8 p.m. ,in the club house. Notice of meeting and nomination forms will be posted or emailed to all members.

Tony Doran will be in attendance in Byrne’s Bookstore, Gorey on Saturday next 11th November at 2pm. to sign copies of his Autobiography “Land of Giants and Men”. All Welcome to call in.

The underage section of the club will hold their annual review meeting on Friday next 10th November at 8pm. in the clubhosue.

All parents of underage boys, adult players and members are asked to make a special effort to attend as they plan for the year ahead.

The list of Officers and Team mentors will be put forward to the Adult AGM for ratification.

SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy is extended to the Murphy family, Clone, on the death of Nellie’s husband Dan, who passed away at Gorey District Hospital on Saturday, October 21.

The removal took place on Monday the 23rd to St Cormac’s Church for two o’clock Mass and he was interred in Monageer cemetery afterwards, May he rest in peace.
