SVP CHRISTMAS APPEAL

St Vincent de Paul will take up the annual Christmas Appeal collection at all Masses on the weekend of December 9 10th 2017. St Vincent de Paul thank you for your generous support in the past and look forward to your continued support in the future. All money collected will be used to relieve financial stress for families locally.

St Vincent de Paul is available to assist families who maybe experiencing particular financial distress especially in terms of basic necessities. Help is available by contacting us on our confidential helpline mobile: 085 1159495.

GAA CLUB NOTES

Tony Doran Book Signing – Tony Doran will be in attendance in Buffers Alley on Friday night, December 8, to sign copies of his recently launched autobiography, in conjunction with a club Coffee Evening. Looking forward to good support on the night, with tickets currently in circulation, costing €5.

Adult Club AGM – The adult club’s annual general meeting will take place on Saturday, December 9, at 7.45 p.m. in the clubhouse, all welcome. If you haven’t received an email copy of the AGM notice and nomination forms, please contact the secretary, Gavin O’Donovan at 086 8239037 or alternatively email secretary.buffersalley.wexford@gaa.ie Nominations must be returned by email to the secretary on or before Sunday, December 3.

Club Development Draw – The November Club Development Draw will take place in the clubhouse on Thursday night next 30th at 10 p.m. As we approach the end of year and AGM, it would be appreciated if everyone could bring their accounts up to date. Good Luck to all in draw.

Fundraising/Social Events – The club is hosting a number of fundraising/social events in the coming weeks. The annual Poker Classic will take place on Wednesday, December 27, in the clubhouse with more details in the coming weeks. The golf classic will take place on Friday, December 29, please book your time with Murt Managan. Tony Doran will once again host his GAA Quiz in the clubhouse on Thursday, January 18.
