-

MOUTH WATERING Wexford bacon, jam, yoghurt and pestos, among other delectable items, will be showcased at the Gifted Christmas Contemperary Craft & Design Fair at the RDS, Dublin from today (Tuesday, December 5), till Sunday, December 10.

This is the first time that Wexford Food Family members have come together as a group at this popular and prestigious event.

The famous Christmas fair has been going for over 30 years and attracts huge numbers of visitors who come to see the products that are on offer, meet the makers of the best Irish foods, crafts and design and get some serious Christmas shopping done.

Representing the Wexford Food Family this year, with the generous support of LEO Wexford, are: O’Neill’s Dry Cure Bacon Co., Pro U Yogurt, Wexford Home Preserves, Wild About, Killowen Farm and Naturally Cordial. Tickets are €12 and available from www.giftedfair.ie or at the door.

Participation in this event is part of the Wexford Food Focus Strategy 2020, working towards growing the food industry in County Wexford in revenue and jobs.

Tom Sinnott of Wexford Home Preserves, chair of the Wexford Food Family said: ‘People from all over Ireland and beyond will be visiting the Gifted fair at the RDS this year and we are proud to be giving them a great experience of

Wexford’s fabulous food offering. We hope that we get some visitors from Wexford too – they will be very welcome at our stands.’
