DEATHS

Sincere sympathy is extended to the Crean family of Kilpatrick on the death of Eileen’s husband Charley, who passed away on Tuesday, November 28.Requiem Mass took place on Sunday, December 3, with buriel after to the ajoining cemetary. Sympathy is also extended to the family of Jimmy Byrne Cul Na Tire, who died during the week Burial took place in Gorey Monday, December 4. May they rest in peace.

SCHOOL CONCERT

Court NS Monamolin are having a Christmas Concert in the KMH, Kilmuckridge on Thursday and Friday, December 14 and 15, at 7 p.m. Admission: adults €7, children €5. Tickets are available to buy from the school office.

WEDDING

Congratulations and best wishes to Seán Og Whelan and Sinéad Casey, who married recently in Goggins Hill, Ballinhassig, Co Cork. Celebrant was family friend, parish priest Fr James Murphy.

A wonderful day was had by all who attended the celebration in the Castlemartyr Resort Hotel followed by a relaxing honeymoon in Lanzarote for the newlyweds. We wish Seán Og and Sinéad a lifetime of happiness, joy, contentment and good health as Mr and Mrs Seán Og Whelan.

POKER CLASSIC

This year’s Poker Classic will take place Wednesday, December 27, at 8 p.m. in the Buffers Alley Clubhouse. Tickets, €20, are now on sale from club members and can also be purchased at the door on the night. Refreshments will be served and the bar will be running promotions for the players on the night. The Door Prize is being kindly sponsored by Hammell’s Centra Kilmuckridge.
