CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Egan’s Pub of Parkbridge, Clonegal, who won the Bord na Mona’s cosiest fireside country competition. After a close race by public votes, Egan’s bar celebrated their win by hosting their very own hearth session.
The scene was set by Catapult, with some lovely hearth session memorabilia and special lighting; TV3 media crew captured some spectacular performances by three famous bands, Little Hours, Stephanie Rainey and Ye Vagabonds. Stephanie Rainey commented that Egan’s bar was packed with lovely people and it was her warmest place to play in so far.
It was a splendid celebration of those warmer winter moments with friends and family. Mary and Larry Egan would like to thank all those who voted for them.
