Licence restored
A MAN who had been banned from driving for a period of seven years appeared before visiting Judge Bernadette Ryan at the District Court to appeal for his licence to be restored.
David Flynn (25) of Ballysilla, Ballymurn, had been disqualified from driving for seven years from May 2, 2013. Through his solicitor Nigel Allen, Flynn told the court that he works full time in New Ross and at the moment, he had to get his wife and young child up before 7 a.m. every morning to drop him to work at a Carpet Company.
Flynn undertook to drive responsibly at all times in the future and gardaí had no objection to the restoration. Upon hearing this, Judge Ryan restored his licence with immediate effect.
