Free hearing test clinic at Roches Allcare Pharmacy

Allcare Pharmacy in Gorey are hosting a ‘Campaign for Better Hearing’ this month.

The campaign, which was launched last month in Ireland, is for over 50s and they are invited to Roches Allcare Pharmacy on Friday, March 23, from 10 a.m., until 5 p.m., for a free hearing check.

The Hidden Hearing consultants will be on site to provide testing and advice on hearing health.

Around 86 per cent of hearing loss in Ireland is untreated and people over 50 are being encouraged to test their hearing in order to avoid the associated physical and psychological difficulties that can arise from poor hearing.

Daniel and Majella O’Donnel are fronting the campaign for Better Hearing. Free hearing checks are also available at the Hidden Hearing clinics throughout the country as part of the campaign.
