GAA CLUB NOTES
Well done to the eight Kilanerin GAA girls who took part in the recent Wexford under-15 v under-14 squad match held recently in Kilanerin.
There will be a three-day Easter Camp for Primary school children, boys and girls, held in Kilanerin on the March 27 to March 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost will be €20, payable in advance online (details next week) or on the first day. This year’s Cúl Camps take place from July 2 to July 6 and again from July 30 to August 3. Bookings open online.

A reminder that the rescheduled Kilanerin Strictly Come Dancing takes place in the community centre on Saturday, March 17. The final v Tara Rock takes place on Saturday the 24th. Contact any of the dancers, or ask in Noels, if there are any tickets still available.

BALLYFAD ICA
To celebrate 50 years of Ballyfad ICA the guild are organising a four-day tour of Donegal from Tuesday, June 19, to Friday, June 22, staying in the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey. Attractions to visit include St Mel’s Cathedral, Doagh Famine Village, WB Yeats Grave and Drumcliffe Church, Glenveigh National Park, Glencolomcille Folk Village.
Admission to all attractions is included in the overall price. Due to weather conditions last week Kilanerin Community Alert had to cancel the talk by Mr John Lonergan. It has now been rescheduled for Thursday night, April 26, at 8 p.m.
3 PEAK CHALLENGE
Fancy joining us for this challenge on Saturday, May 5, to help raise funds for Ballyfad Hall and Church? This was a very enjoyable challenge last year and we love to have more of you join us as we climb Mount Leinster, Sliabh Bhuí and Croghan Mountain again this year.
