BOOK AND CAKE SALE

St Cormac’s parents’ associatio­n are organising a book and cake sale for Good Friday. The sale will be held in the hall after prayers on March 30. They would appreciate any donations of goodies or books and if you have any to donate, they can be given to any member of the parents’ associatio­n. Fresh baking can be left into the hall before the Good Friday ceremonies.

EASTER PARISH RAFFLE

Lines for the Parish Raffle will be on sale before and after weekend Masses in St Cormac’s this weekend. Each line costs €2 and you can buy three for €5. There are sixteen prizes in total on offer and the draw will take place next Sunday, March 25, after the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass. Your generous support would be gratefully appreciate­d and all proceeds will go to church funds.

EASTER FITNESS CAMP

The GAAs Easter Activity Camp is filling up but you can still book a place by contacting Jonothan Dunne at 083 0022912. The camp will run from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. each day and will include hurling, camogie and football skills developmen­t as well as athletics and rounders. It only costs €25 for one child, €40 for two siblings or €50 for three or more from the same family.

SOCCER NEWS

All matches due to be played on Saturday the 11th. And Sunday the 12th. had to be postponed as the pitches were unplayable.

MINISTERS OF THE WORD

Catherine Whelan and Rosaleen Gahan will be reading at the Vigil Mass for Palm Sunday at 8 p.m. on Saturday evening with Marie Barne and Rika O’Neill reading at the 11 a.m. Mass on Palm Sunday the 25th.

The Eucharisti­c Minister on duty on Saturday night is Ann Whelan while Gay Gahan will be helping distribute Holy Communion at the 11 a.m. Mass on Palm Sunday.

COFFEE MORNING

Colm and Rosmary O’Loughlin are hosting a coffee morning in aid of the Ronald McDonald House in Crumlin Children’s Hospital in the Presentati­on Centre, Enniscorth­y from 10.30 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. on April 4. Their youngest child, Darragh, was operated on in Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, when he was only six days old and ended up spending the first six months of his life in the hospital.

KILNAMANAG­H NS OPEN DAY

Kilnamanag­h National School is holding an open day in the school on Thursday, March 22, from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Friends and family of existing school pupils are all welcome to attend as well as anyone who would like to enrol their child/children in the school.
