HUNTINGTON CASTLE

We are looking forward to Easter this year with a return to our golden nugget treasure hunt on Saturday, March 31, to Monday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each child will receive a basket and set of clues to help them gather the nuggets hidden around the garden. There will be lots of exploring in the Wilderness and Gardens with possibly some surprises along the way and then a triumphant return to the Courtyard to claim their chocolate gift.

SONG AND STORY

The house of song and Story no longer meets on a monthly basis. The next session will be held on Monday, April 16, in St Brigid’s Community Hall, Clonegal at 8 p.m. All are most welcome.

TIDY VILLAGE

Clonegal Tidy Village Associatio­n will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, March 28, at 7 p.m. in St Brigid’s Community Hall, Clonegal.

THE MONDAY CLUB

Come and join us and brighten up your Monday mornings in St Mary’s Day Centre, Ryland Road, Bunclody, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The club would suit 60+ age group, entrance fee of just €4, which includes tea and light lunch.

On Monday, March 26: Arts and crafts, bingo and Card games. Our yearly arts and crafts and Bring and Buy Sale will be held on Thursday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Throughout the year we will have informatio­n sharing, entertainm­ent, arts and crafts, guest speakers and many more topics.
