Hurling league–Our senior hurlers got off to a great start in Division 2A of the All-County Hurling League with 0-26 to 1-8 victory over Askamore in Ballygarre­tt on Saturday last. In an impressive performanc­e every member of the starting team and all the substitute­s contribute­d handsomely to the victory but we had particular­ly good displays from Brian O’Connor, Tom Sinnott, Colm Kennelly; Cormie Moore-Kavanagh, Pat Naughter and Billy Conroy.

LINE DANCING

Beginners line dancing classes are on in Ballygarre­tt GAA hall every Tuesday night from 8 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. Admission is €8. New members are very welcome. Good fun and excersise. Contact Brenda 0876143945.
