UNDERAGE GAA

The under-16 camogie team defeated Rathnure in the first round of the championsh­ip, 3-11 to 3-6. Round two is on Wednesday, May 2, away to St Martin’s. Our under-13 hurlers, playing at home, defeated St Martin’s on a scoreline of 6-14 to 0-6 and the under-15 hurlers won round one of their championsh­ip (313 to 3-06) against Askamore. The under-13 boys are away to Oylegate-Glenbrien on Tuesday, May 1, and the under-15s are away to Craanford on Thursday, May 3.

GAA NURSERY

Oulart-The Ballagh GAA and camogie club Nursery and Training will start on Friday, May 4, in Oulart on the Upper Pitch, for boys ages 4-5 (born 2013 and 2014) and girls aged 4-6 (born 2012,2013 and 2014)

HURLING RESULTS

Oulart-The Ballagh senior hurlers opened their championsh­ip campaign by drawing with Glynn-Barntown in Bellefield on Friday, April 20. The full-time score was 1-18 each. In Intermedia­te hurling championsh­ip the men in red and black defeated Marshalsto­wn on a scoreline of 2-20 to 0-11. Our Junior hurlers lost to Ballyhogue, 2-11 to 1-05.
