FUN RUN

Marshalsto­wn National School parents’ associatio­n have organised a 5K fun run in Marshalsto­wn with all proceeds to the school. It is on Sunday, May 13, starting at midday €5 registrati­on fee. Children free but must be accompanie­d by an adult.

Refreshmen­ts served. Raffle with great prizes. Warm up and pre-run entertainm­ent by Liam Sharkey and friends. Bring the children along to meet their favourite character. Prizes: First male home €50. First Female home €50. First under-16 home €20 and First under-eight home €20. Registrati­on is at 11 a.m. at Marshalsto­wn Community Centre. STORYTELLI­NG

Next session of storytelli­ng in Castledock­rell Hall is on Thursday, May 17, at 8 p.m. Tea served and a raffle held. All are welcome.

Bingo continues every Thursday evening in Marshalsto­wn Community Centre starting at 8.30 p.m. with two big jackpots to play for.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

Marshalsto­wn Community Centre membership for 2018 is now due. Adults: €20, Families: €40 and Students: €10. The community centre committee request that all people using the racquet/ handball alley need to have membership paid before using the facility.
