Defibrillator for Camolin thanks to Somers family
The residents of Camolin welcomed an important new addition to the village on Tuesday morning.
The family of the late Jim Somers from Camolin kindly donated an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) to the village, which has been placed at Somers Commercials on Main Street.
Camolin and Ferns Community First Responders unveiled the new defibrillator and acknowledged the generosity of the donation which will hopefully save a life in the case of a cardiac arrest emergency in the Camolin area.
The defibrillator is mounted to a wall in a cabinet at the entrance to Somers Commercials, beside Jack Taverns Bar. It was donated to the village by the Somers family in Jim Somers memory.
