Sadness at loss of businessman Tony

THE FUNERAL will take place in Wexford today (Tuesday) of businessman Tony Hayden of Knockhone, Barntown, whose unexpected death on Friday last has caused widespread shock and sadness in the community.

A former student of St Peter’s College and Bolton Street College of Technology, Mr Hayden, a native of north Wexford, worked with Winthrop Engineering in Waterford before establishing his own company, Codex Mechanical, specialising in energy-saving and renewable heating projects.

He is survived by his wife and children, his parents, his sisters and brothers and by his extended family and many friends.

Funeral prayers will take place in St Alphonsus Church, Barntown, today (Tuesday) at 2.30 p.m. followed by a private family burial in Woodbrook burial ground.
