SUMMER CAMP

Craanford-Monaseed Playschool summer camp will take place from July 23 to July 27 and August 20 to August 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily; cost is €50 for five days or €15 per day. VINTAGE RALLY/FIELD DAY

This year’s vintage rally and field day will take place on Sunday, July 15, Our dog show returns this year. Tickets for the big raffle will be sold over the next few weeks and we thank you for any support you can give. If you wish any donation of bottles for the bottle stall will be greatly accepted when ticket sellers are out and about. Any donations for bric-à-brac and bottle stall can also be handed into the hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, or after 6 p.m. Mass on Saturday evening.

CHARITY CYCLE

Patrick Doyle, is taking on the gruelling 175 kms charity Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle which is a test of character, strength and endurance over a tough terrain on July 7 in aid of Breakthrou­gh Cancer Research. All your support would be appreciate­d as he has been training rigorously for this event in order to raise money for this cause which is close to home for many hearts.

The skydive in aid of the sports complex will take place on Sunday, July 29, Many thanks to our brave volunteers Patrick Lennon, Caroline Kavanagh and James Beesley, who will glide and ‘freefall’ over the Kilkenny skyline. Anyone with outstandin­g sponsorshi­p cards are asked to return them a.s.a.p.

Registrati­on for the Cúl Camps is now open – first camp is from July 9, second camp August 13.

Monaseed Community Playground would like to thank everyone who came out to support and help out at our Race Night In Cooneys of Craanford. This fundraiser was a great success and your support is greatly appreciate­d. We hope everyone had a great time.
