PATRON/FIELD DAY

The annual Cloughbawn patron will be held on Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m. Raffle tickets are now on sale and sellers will be calling to around the parish during the coming weeks, Home baking can be left with Elizabeth Donnellan or Martin Ryan on the Saturday the seventh, bric-à-brac may be left with Martin or Nancy Foley in the week before the field day.

CLOUGHBAWN GAA

The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp returns to Cloughbawn GAA Club from July 23 to July 27. Book online at kelloggsculcamps.gaa. ie. A great week of fun is guaranteed.

SYMPATHY

We extend sympathy to the Dier Family Clonroche on the recent passing of Colin Dier, Clonroche House, Clonroche. Colin was a most active member of the community, involved in the hall committee, Tidy Towns and presently held the position of secretary of Clonroche Community Development. Sadly missed by his sisters Betty and Joy, brother Robert, cousin Mary, relatives, neighbours and friends. Brother of the late Cecil and Evans. May he rest in peace.
