Speeding and car tax offences

GARY CUNNIFFE of 25 Chestnut Walk, Kilmuckridge was fined on the double in his absence at Gorey District Court for motoring offences.

Summonses were issued after Cunniffe was caught speeding, breaking the 60 km/h limit in force at Ballyedmond on November 9 last.

The investigating garda also noted that no valid motor tax disc was on display in Cunniffe’s vehicle.

The result was a fine of €250 for the tax offence and €100 for the speeding.
