FIELD DAY

The board of management of Scoil Mochua would like to thank all who supported our recent successful field day. The results of the raffle are as follows.

First prize €200 Talbot Hotel Voucher went to Richard Devereux, Raheenduff, second prize A €50 voucher for Leisure Max, went to Paul McInerney and third prize a €25 Cotton Tree Cafe Voucher went to Alice Kelly. Other winners included; Guess the Weight of the cake – Kevin Cooney, Guess the Sweets in the jar – Rory Jacob, who won a €25 Pebble Art voucher. Hurling shots – Jack Dunne, who won an Oulart-The Ballagh GAA top. Soccer Shots – Lorcan Nimmo Senior, Paudie Dempsey and Daryl Kehoe Junior, who won vouchers for Footgolf in Blackwater. The Clotheslin­e race was won by John Lacey, who received an Oulart-The Ballagh camogie Hoodie. Skittles was won by Darren O’Brien, who received a voucher for Frontiers Vertinary Services.

We would like to thank all those who attended and supported the field day, along with those who volunteere­d and came together to prepare the field as well as all who donated prizes and sponsorshi­p on the day.

CHEQUE PRESENTATI­ON

Well done to Sheila Mythen and Christine Smyth, Mayview Park, who visited St Senan’s Primary School, Enniscorth­y, last week and presented a cheque for€1,300 to the Autism Unit to help towards providing extra equipment for the children, like Sheila’s grandson, who attend the Unit.
