LIFESAVING PRESENTATION
Castletown Liam Mellows GAA Healthy Club Project Team in conjunction with Courtown RNLI will hold a 10-15 minute presentation in the Coolgreany club house on Tuesday, July 17, at 8.30 p.m., and in Castletown on Thursday the 19th at 8.30 p.m., all are welcome. This short presentation could save a life so please attend.
VINTAGE CLUB
The Coolgreany Vintage Day will be held in Coolgreany on Sunday, September 9, and plans for the day are advancing well so far. It is hoped to have a very big response on the day with vintage cars and tractors of all vintage years on exhibit. The plan is to have auto jumble stalls and vintage dress also. Entertainment on the field will be provided by Stacey Breen with her lovely versions of old country and western music.

The committee are appealing to anyone who has an interest in vintage cars or tractors to join our club, the membership fee is set at a very reasonable sum of €25, and everyone is welcome to join. Next meeting on next Wednesday evening at 8.30 p.m.
TIDY TOWNS
The keep Wexford Beautiful Competition is taking place over the next few weeks and the committee are asking people to keep the grass verges and footpaths litter-free, the village is looking well with all the seats, tables, flower pots and hanging baskets looking splendid. The recent barbecue was a great success on a lovely sunshine evening, and thanks to everyone who helped in any way, the children had a great time playing while the parents enjoyed the chatting, a big thank you to Cillian and Co for cleaning the path ad also the 1798 stone for the occasion, thanks to everyone who gave donations big and small. The tidy Towns use the returns for the Flowers and Equipment.
KILNINOR HERITAGE
A tour of Shelton Abbey will take place on Thursday the 19th between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The tour will cover the Gardens and a tour and history of the house talk, free event any donations to Wicklow Hospice.
GYMKHANA
The annual Coolgreany Gymkhana will be held in Coolgreany on Sunday, September 23, in Coolgreany. Plans are advancing favourably for the day, which is always a very worthwhile day out, with some lovely trophies and cups to be won, and also some very good prizes in the very popular Dog Show section.
HANDBALL LOTTO
Coolgreany Handball lotto now stands at €6,000, lotto tickets are available in Jim Short’s, Coolgreany post office, O’Rafferty’s. A new prize format is now in place, with seven lucky dips worth €30 each and one Seller’s prize. There was one lucky Seller Winner last week: Damian Kelly, Coolgreany. COMMUNITY CHILDCARE
Craanford-Monaseed Community Childcare are recruiting an AIMS funded childcare assistant to support the needs of all children in the ECCE room. The suitable candidate should be qualified to a minimum of level 5/6 in childcare or above. This role will commence on September 3. CAMPA LE CHEILE
As part of the GAP ARTS festival, there is a bilingual summer camp being held in Ballythomas school on August 7/8/9. The camp is focused on creativity and expression and at the same time introduce comhra in a fun and informal way. Boys and girls aged from four to 18 are welcome.
