€11m fund is now available for SMEs
FUNDING of up to €11m is available for small and medium enterprises in the South East Region through EIIS Management Ltd - a joint venture company owned by Goodbody Stockbrokers and Baker Tilly Hughes Blake, who have offices in Enniscorthy and Dublin.
Details of the funding and its criteria are set to be outlined at the monthly luncheon of Enniscorthy & District
Chamber of Commerce this week.
Director at Baker Tilly
Hughes Blake, Ms Linda
Doran, will address the members at the meeting, taking place in Kilcannon Garden
Centre on Friday at noon, in relation to the opportunities posed by this funding.
A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Ms Doran is one of Ireland’s most experienced accountancy practitioners specialising in the audit of progressive mid-market businesses including financial management and control.
She will outline how EIIS Ltd is actively seeking suitable investment opportunities from €500,000 up to €5million and is an attractive source of funding at competitive rates for qualifying companies.
She will also go through the investment criteria and the benefits for SMEs and she has already stated that ‘typically there is no repayment required over the 4 year investment period which often allows a company the space and time to drive growth in sales, profits and cashflow over the medium term’.
The pitch will be directed at businesses planning on expanding in the coming years and there will also be information on companies who have already availed of the investment scheme.
