Lewis double helps Gorey to victory

Gorey Rangers continued their winning start in the Youths Premier Division when making it three from three as they edged out New Ross Celtic 3-2 on Saturday.

Ryan Lewis (two) and Mark Atkin scored for the winners, with Garry Porter and A.J. Redmond replying for Celtic.

Table-toppers Kilmore United continued their good start to their Youths Division 1 campaign when earning a 4-2 win away to Gorey Celtic on Saturday.

Seán Carley, Ryan Culleton and Jude Bates (two) scored for the visitors, with Caleb Byrne-Murphy and Daniel Lynch hitting the back of the net for Celtic.

St. Leonards fought back from 2-0 down to earn a share of the spoils against Wexford Celtic.

Goals from Tiernan Dempsey and Lorcan Brennan looked to have Celtic in control, but Aaron Whelan and Jamie Sheehan got on the scoresheet to rescue a point for the saints.

Wexford Bohs kept up their one hundred per cent record in Youths Division 3 as goals from Mark Shortall, Sam McQuaid and Cathal Dowd earned them a 3-2 win over Camolin Celtic.

Cathal Roche hit the back of the net six times as Shamrock Rovers ran out 13-1 winners over Glynn Barntown, with Josh Waldron and Aaron Wallace bagging doubles and Kian Breslin, Jack Davis and Daniel Bent adding a goal apiece.

St. Joseph’s earned their fourth successive win in Youths Division 3 as they overwhelme­d Adamstown 7-1, while James Ryan netted a double in Wexford Celtic’s 4-0 win over Bree United.
