Rosslare Rangers and Hibs share the spoils

Rosslare Rangers and Courtown Hibs came away with a point apiece after an entertaining 2-2 draw in their Premier Division clash on Sunday.

Aaron Goff and Conor O’Reilly hit the back of the net for Rangers, with Matty Kavanagh and Daniel O’Brien replying for Hibs.

Two second-half goals from Adrian Flynn earned St. Leonards their first point of the campaign as they fought back from 3-1 down at the break to earn a 3-3 draw against Moyne Rangers.

Eoin Ryan had earlier hit the back of the net for the saints, but a Timmy Dwyer brace and a Dave Franklin goal looked to have Moyne in control. However, St. Leonards had other ideas and Flynn’s double earned them a share of the spoils.

Glynn Barntown got back to winning ways on Sunday as they carved out a hardfought 3-2 victory in Ferns.

The visitors got off to a flyer, with Rioghan Crosbie firing them in front after ten minutes with a great strike from just inside the box.

Kieran Murphy drew Ferns level ten minutes later and they got their noses in front five minutes into the second-half, with Murphy again doing the needful.

Glynn Barntown pressed hard for an equaliser and the introduction of John Leacy, Dylan Lyne and Kristjan Tsava lifted the tempo.

Leacy bagged the leveller when the ball fell to him inside the six-yard box and he finished smartly.

The winning goal came from Seán Carmody as he planted a header in the far corner of the net.

Cushinstown ran out 3-1 winners over Killenagh Wanderers, with Nicky Sinnott scoring a double and Jonathan Murphy adding a cracker.

Taghmon United got their first victory on the board as goals from Joey Cardiff and Murt Delaney saw them win 2-0 away to Rosslare Port.
