Clothes Collection Kilmuckridge Family Resource Centre are holding a clothes bag collection on Monday, October 1. Bags can be dropped in to the centre prior to this date Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are located beside Kilmuckridge Primary School.

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Circle of friends will return on Tuesday, September 11, in the KMH Kilmuckridge at 7.30 p.m. We are looking forward to catching up with old friends and new members are also welcome.
LINE DANCING
Line dancing continues on Mondays in Upton Court, Kilmuckridge from eight – 9 p.m. Beginners welcome from 7.30 p.m. Cost is €7 per person.
CHARITY BINGO
There is a Charity Bingo night in the Crosses Kilmuckridge every Thursday at 8.30 p.m. Next Bingo on Thursday, September 27. Jackpot €720. Free raffle.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
After a resounding success last year the centre will hold another Christmas Concert on Friday, November 30, in the KMH Further information will be provided in the coming weeks.
UPCYCLING WORKSHOP
There will be an upcycling workshop on Sunday, October 7, 10 a.m to 4.30 p.m. in the KMH Kilmuckridge. Join Marianne from the Revamp Tramp for a one-day workshop. Learn how to upcycle furniture using various techniques and bring home your very own revamped piece at the end of the day. All materials are provided and all you need to bring is a small piece of furniture.
All materials are provided to turn your chosen piece of small furniture into something special and most importantly designed by you. You only need to bring the small piece of furniture you would like to revamp.
Throughout the day you will learn how to prep and paint furniture while also learning furniture techniques including decoupage, glazing, distressing and most importantly how to plan a design for your piece. Tea or coffee and light refreshments will also be provided.
As you will all be working at your own pace you will need to make your own arrangements for lunch. The price for the full day workshop is €25 or €15 for OAPs, Unemployed, Fulltime Students spaces are limited and full payment is required in advance. LITTLE ACORNS
We are now taking bookings for the afterschool club which will operate till 5.30 p.m. Pick up from St Joseph’s Primary school at 1.40 p.m. and 2.40 p.m. by our childcare team. Subvention schemes available. Contact 053 9130393.
FREE TRAINING
COTS is a WWETB (formerly Fás) training centre located in Kilmuckridge. We are offering the opportunity to complete a Level 5 in Retail Practice with additional training: Barista Skills, first Aid, Manual Handling, etc. This is a fulltime free course scheduled to commence in September 2018. Those in receipt of a social welfare payment will obtain a substantial training allowance. BRIDGE CLUB

WOMEN’S SELF DEFENCE
A Women’s Self defence class with Alan Ellis is starting on Wednesday, October 3, at 8 p.m. in Monamolin Community Hall. Cost is €75 for an eight-week term. Contact Alan Ellis at 089 4567533.
MEN’S SHED
The Kilmuckridge Men’s Shed is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.30 till 16.00. Call in any time during these hours have a coffee meet everyone and see some of the projects the group have made. For more information phone 053 9130393. Everyone welcome all age groups.
