NOTES

Please note the change of deadline day. Any items to be included in the local notes have to be sent to me by Thursday evening by 5 p.m. and not a Sunday. Please contact Ann at 087 7433684 or email annkehoe@ yahoo.ie. in requesting that no election posters be erected within the 50km zone on any approach road to and within the village.

Such posters are a blight on the roadside and streetscape. Many more effective, environmentally friendly and less costly ways of promoting candidates are available now.

We thank all concerned in advance for your cooperation.
