SCARY KIDS DISCO

Come along to scary kids’ disco in Kiltealy Hall Wednesday, October 31, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Family entry €5. DJ, home made treats included in admission and there will be a prize for best costume. All proceeds go to community park fund.

BALLINDAGG­IN COMMUNITY PARK

Ballindagg­in Developmen­t Group have announced the opening date for the new community park. The group have had fantastic help and donations from near and far over the last two years which enabled them to enhance the experience all will enjoy when the park opens Sunday next, November 4, Please note opening time has been changed and will now take place immediatel­y after 11.30 p.m. Mass (12.15 approx). Bishop Denis Brennan DD will celebrate Mass as well as celebrate opening of the park. Minister Paul Kehoe will officially open the park. This will be a place for everyone in the local community to relax and enjoy, so come along on Sunday next, November 4, and see the finished article. Refreshmen­ts will be served in the hall afterwards.

DOWN SYNDROME COLLECTION

The Wexford Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland will hold a church gate collection in Kiltealy/ Ballindagg­in next weekend Saturday and Sunday, November 4, and five. Every cent will remain in the Wexford branch to be used for the benefit of all the Down Syndrome children and adults. A permit has been granted by An Garda Síochána, your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

There will be a meeting in Kiltealy Hall this Friday, November 2, at 7.30 p.m. to organise this year’s senior citizens’ Party.

Ideally if people who have previously helped can attend to share their knowledge with new volunteers who can help on the day so that all guests can sit own and enjoy the meal.

The party will be on Sunday, December 2, Spot prizes for the raffle can be left into the parish office from now, thanking you in advance for your generosity and helping to make this a great occasion for all our senior citizens. Please note there will also be an opportunit­y at this meeting to get feedback from parishione­rs on next year’s field day and discuss ideas for 2019.

OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB

There are still places available in Kiltealy Out of School Club for primary school children. The club will be open over the Halloween break (Tuesday. October 30 – Friday, November 2) at the usual times 7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children enjoy many activities including baking, pottery and outdoor play.
