Congratulations to the girls Rackard League team who defeated Piercetown to win R1. Very hard luck to the boys who were defeated, again by Piercetown, in their R1 final the same night. Very high standards at this age group.
The Kilanerin club AGM takes place in Shamrock hall on Friday the 16th at 8 p.m. Nominations and motions to the sec. asap.
The under-20 hurling final replay took place on Saturday. See results for the outcome. The under-20 football quarterfinal v Taghmon/Adamstown takes place in Kilanerin on Saturday the 24th at 2 p.m.

Top Score was Tess Enright. First lady was Maureen Leahy, second lady was Rosari Gillick and half time lady was shared by Anne Fleming and Breda O’Connor. First gent was Noel Carter, second gent was Bernie Walsh and half time gent was Michael Murphy. Raffle winners were Peg McDonald, Mary McCarthy and Cyril Byran. Whist continues on Wednesday night at 8.30 p.m.

DOWN SYNDROME
The Wexford Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland wishes to thank everyone who gave so generously to their recent church gate collection in Kilanerin and Ballyfad, amount collected and banked was €313.23, thanks to the wonderful collectors for all their time and help. All the money collected will stay in the branch to be used to benefit all the children and adults in the branch.

The winter outing is on Saturday, January 12, we are going to the Abbey Theatre to see Come from Away with dinner on the way home at Glenview hotel leaving Kilanerin at 9.30. Cost is €40 including bus and ticket to the show €25 deposit required by November 12 contact Leeann at 086 8980475 for more details. Pilates is on Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Shamrock hall in Kilanerin €6 per class or eight classes for €45.

Scor na nÓg Co semi-final takes place on Saturday, November 17, In Oulart Communitry Centre, Categories include figure dancing (4, six or eight people) Solo Singing, recitation/storey telling, Ballad group (up to five people) Stage presentation (up to eight people) Instrumental music (up to five people) set dancing (eight people) Participants must be under 17 years of age. The table quiz section takes place on Thursday, November 29, in St Martin’s Complex teams of four, further information from Margaret Jones at 087 2995443.
