Olivia at your service in exciting new hair salon
A NEW and exciting hairdressers called Hair by Olivia has opened in the historic town of Enniscorthy.
Olivia Cahill from Ferns has been in the business for just eight years and opened her very own salon at 4 Church Street at the young age of 25.
Hair by Olivia is the kind of place where customers come as much for the chat as the fantastic hair-dressing service she offers. But that’s not all, Hair by Olivia also has a fantastic nail bar with technician Leona Breen who specialises in gel, acrylic, polydip and gel polish.
‘Ever since I was a teenager I dreamed about having my own salon one day,’ she said. ‘When I left the FCJ in Bunclody I went into Karl Martin’s in Enniscorthy and trained with him for eight years and went on different courses.’
Olivia decided to open her premises in Enniscorthy with the intention of providing a service for her long list of loyal customers. But, it’s not just Enniscorthy folk who frequently visit Hair by Olivia. Customers come from Ferns, and even further afield to enjoy the experience in Olivia’s.
The salon is open from Tuesday to Wednesday, from 9 a.m., until 6 p.m., on Thursday from 9 a.m., until 8 p.m., on Friday from 9 a.m., until 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m., until 5 p.m.
All ages from children to senior citizens are catered for. The male of the species are also very welcome to Hair by Olivia.
Down through the years, Olivia has created some crazy styles. She enjoys doing different colours on her clients.
Hair by Olivia menu offers everything from the basic wash, cut and blow-dry to highlights, colours, ombre, up styles and much more.
She is in demand for a lot of weddings and goes out of her way to visit bridal parties the morning of the wedding. She will usually do a trial session in advance so everyone is happy with the end result for the big day.
Olivia has completed every hairdressing course under the sun as she want to keep up with all the latest trends and has more certificates than would fit on the wall of the salon. She is ably assisted by one other stylist and a nail technician.
