GAA CLUB NOTES

team of the week goes to the Ballythomas Girls Mini Sevens, who won, for the third time in a row, the Wexford top division last week. That having won the Rackard league the week before. Congratulations to the girls, the school and to Mr Whelan.

The under-20 Hurling replay was scheduled for Sat the 24th. See sports pages for outcome. The under-20 football quarter final should take place this coming weekend.

All officers were returned at the club AGM last week. Reporting on the very good year on and off the pitch, the chairperson, Micheál Darcy and treasurer, Eleanor Hughes, outlined the once off income for 2018 which allowed so much development to be recently finalized. Everything starts again in 2019 with fundraising to expand the clubhouse, most likely in 2020. Both Kilanerin and Tara Rocks should be proud of the investments at both locations AND the increasing numbers of players in both clubs. Roll on 2019 season. Ballynastragh Gaels camogie, in particular, is growing rapidly, in numbers and standards.

The camogie AGM also returned the current officers for another year.
