Active Retired Coffee day

Gorey Active Retirement meet every Friday, in the Loch Garman Arms, from 11 a.m.

The AGM will take place on Tuesday, January 29, at 2.30 p.m. and the committee members are calling out for new people to join. Without new members, Gorey Active Retirement will eventually struggle to provide the range of activities and events they currently enjoy. As committee members get older the Committee needs an influx of younger members to help and support the work. In most cases support of about 1-2 hours a week would be a great help.

Christmas Dinner and Dance will take place on Tuesday, December 11, at 5.30 p.m. in the Ashdown Park Hotel. Music by Wicklow Man.

There’s a trip to the Motown Music matinee in the Bord Gais Theatre on February 9.

Christmas Closures are as follows: Monday bowls closed from December 17 and reopens on January 7; Tuesday Go for Life reopens January 8; Tuesday Darts reopens January 8; Wednesday walking in Courtown Woods will close for Christmas on December 19 and reopens January 2; Art Class will finish on December 20 and reopens January 10; Coffee Morning in Loch Garman Arms will close on December 21 and reopens January 4.

A free Community Coffee Morning will take place every Friday in Gorey Christian Assembly, Ramsgate Village, from 10 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. All are welcome. a gift wrapping service in Gorey Shopping Centre on December 15, 16, 23 and 24. of these great stories that will take you on a trip down memory lane.
