Rathnure machinery company outlines ambitious growth plans

-

RATHNURE based machinery company, Barron Machinery, have outlined ambitious plans for the future as they aim to expand and grow their customer base.

The company has been part of the farming landscape since its foundation in 1983 by Seamus Barron. Initially, the company provided used tractors and ancillary equipment and 35 years later, the company has grown into a substantial franchise dealer of big brands such as McCormick, Gregorie Besson, Strautmann, Hardi, Vicon and Major Equipment.

The company has also seen significant change at the top wit Seamus’ son Barry taking the reins three years ago and pursuing an aggressive expansion policy.

‘We’ve upped our game,’ said Barry. ‘We know that customers require quality machinery, but we must also support that equipment with high-quality after sales support. This is an area where we’ve invested in more facilities and resources.’

Looking to the future, Barry is feeling confident and hopes to be able to grow the business even further and create more employment in the area.

‘Our investment and expansion plans include more facilities for technical support and service,’ he said.

‘We plan to take on new team members and I want to be knocking on all the doors of our customers throughout County Wexford to show them that we really mean business. The future is looking very positive and I want to continue to show our customers that when they come to Barron Machinery, they will receive the ultimate in after-sales service and the highest quality machinery brands, bar none.’
