BALLYOUGHTER REMEMBRANCE TREE
Ballyoughter parents’ association Presents: our Remembrance Tree. Purchase a bauble to remember your loved ones this Christmas, baubles will be placed on the tree in Sacred Heart Church Ballyoughter. A special Remembrance Mass will be held in Ballyoughter on December 23 at 9.45 a.m. Refreshments served in the school afterwards. Baubles are available to purchase from Ballyoughter school, local businesses or by contacting 087 6345789. Cost of baubles is €2 each or three for €5. Your support is greatly appreciated and all proceeds go directly towards building an outdoor shelter for the school kids.
PIKE INN REUNION
Anyone that drank in the Pike Inn, Camolin in the last 80 years (and those that were never in it before) are invited to a reunion in the Pike Inn on December 15 after Mass. There will beomplimentary tea or coffee with the Pike Inn speciality sandwiches, spot prizes, live auction and a raffle. The oldest customer of the Pike Inn will be there. Come along and enjoy the night singing along to DJ Mouse’s 80’s music. The Bar and Pool area are re-opening after a 20-year closure. Proceeds going towards St Patrick’s Scor na nÓg and the establishment of a St Patrick’s Girls’ Football Club.
