CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

The pupils of St Brigid’s NS will be performing in a Carol Service in St Brigid’s Church today, December 11 at 7 p.m. It is always a very meaningful and enjoyable way for pupils to prepare for Christmas. The teachers have put a lot of work into preparing for it and our pupils are excited to perform for you. We would love to see you there and please, do invite as many people as possible to come along.

Pupils are to arrive at the church at 6.45 p.m. Pupils are to wear a red polo shirt and a Santa hat. Ms Abbey’s class should arrive in costume, as they will be acting out the nativity. Parents to be seated in advance of the Carol Service, which will start at 7 p.m.

There will be a donation bucket at the door of the church and the proceeds will go towards some playground markings on the schoolyard. Some of the donations will go towards a local charity. The local charity has yet to be decided but a presentation will be made at an assembly before the holidays.

BÓTHAR GOATS

Children from Clonegal NS will be busy making calendars, with proceeds from this year’s Carol Service. This is part of our SPHE programme in the school and ‘Bóthar’ is the schools designated charity.
