FUNKY KIDS CONCERT

Pupils of Kiltealy NS take to the stage in Kiltealy Community Hall tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. and again Thursday evening at 7 p.m. for this year’s Funky Kilds Concert which promises to be an entertaini­ng event.

The children have been practising for the past couple of months and are ready to deliver a great show. Tickets are available from the school or at the door on the nights.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to the family, relations and friends of the late Michael Murphy, Coonogue, who died on November 22 Interment took place in Rathanna Cemetery on Sunday, November 25.

Sympathy is also extended to the family of the late Bridget Nolan, Castledock­rell, who passed away on December 6 Interment took lace in Castledock­rell cemetery on Saturday last.

Deepest sympathy to the family of late Mary Ellen O’Leary, Rossard, who died on Thursday last week. Burial took place in Calvary Cemetery on Saturday. May they all rest in peace.

Ballindagg­in Christmas Story House takes place this Thursday night, December 13, at 8 p.m. in Ballindagg­in Hall. Great music, song and story, join in and do your party piece or relax and enjoy.

WEXFORD PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

‘Wexford People Helping People’ are a group in Wexford helping people who have met hard times, you may have heard their interviews on South East Radio.

A few people in Kiltealy Ballindagg­in are doing a food collection. The items will be distribute­d all over the county for people in need, not just large towns. We are looking for tins, packets, jars, sauces, soups, pasta, rice, tea, coffee, dried food items with long shelf life. Also hygiene products, toiletries, nappies, baby wipes, fire lighters, coal, firewood etc., minerals, sweets, biscuits. Children’s new socks and underware. We are not collecting clothes or money.

Drop off points Ballindagg­in Hall Wednesday the 12th 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kiltealy Hall Wednesday the 12th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kiltealy parish office at back of parochial house Monday to Friday 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SOCIAL DANCING

Social dancing continues in Kiltealy Community Hall this Friday, December 14, music on the night will be by Teddy and Cathal Barry. Dancing 9.30 to midnight, admission €8.
