Campile and saints play a thrilling draw

Campile United and St. Cormac’s had to be content with a point apiece after a thrilling contest which ended 4-4 on Sunday.

Both sides will feel they should have taken the three points, as Campile held a 3-0 advantage at the break, before the saints stormed back to lead 4-3 prior to being rocked back on their heels by a late equaliser.

Eric Banville, Graham ‘Dax’ Howlin (two) and Jamie Myler scored for United, with St. Cormac’s replying through Mick Sweeney, Johnny Fitzgerald and a Mark Walsh double.

Cloughbawn are three points behind leaders Kilmore United after seeing off New Ross Celtic 2-0, with goals from Willie Murphy and Callen Morrissey.

Enniscorthy United picked up three points on Sunday as they chalked up a 4-2 win over Cushinstown. Niall Thorpe (two), T.J. Owens and Oumair Rauf scored for the winners, with Nicky Sinnott and Ian Gaffney hitting the back of the net for Cushinstown.

Rosslare Strand moved to the top of Division 3A after a convincing 5-1 win over Ballymurn Celtic on Sunday.

Liam O’Connor (two), Dylan Parle, Conor Clancy and Danny O’Reilly hit the back of the net for the table-toppers.

Wexford Bohs also had their shooting boots on as they won 5-2 away to Rosslare Rangers. Alan Flood (two), Stuart Hayden, Ben Walsh and Michael O’Rourke scored for Bohs, with Wayne O’Leary and Aaron Kehoe getting on the scoresheet for Rangers.

Patrick Somers bagged a hattrick for Kiltealy Celtic as they hit Campile United for six without reply on Sunday.

Feargal Kenny, Steve ‘The Shaper’ Watchorn and Mick Stephens got the other goals for the winners.

Carne F.C. saw off Ferns United 3-1 thanks to Joey Murphy, Fintan Mullins and an own goal, while Courtown Hibs won 2-1 away to Curracloe United, with Adam Ellard netting both goals for Hibs.

Bunclody joined Wexford Bohs at the top of Division 5 after a 6-0 win over Cushinstown on Sunday.

John Connors (two), Aaron Collier, Barty Byrne, Paul Doyle and Paul Murphy got their goals.

Ryan Lynch and John Browne hit the back of the net for Wexford Celtic in their 2-0 win over Enniscorthy United.
