COOLGREANY DRAMA AGM

Coolgreany Amateur Dramatic Society will hold its AGM in St Mogue’s Hall, Inch, on Tuesday, February 12, at 7.30 p.m. All members are invited to attend. New members welcome.

SYMPATHY

The local community of Coolgreany extend their deepest sympathy to the O’Donnell family, Knockgrean­y, Coolgreany on the death of Tom O’Donnell, whose burial took place in Ballyfad Cemetery after funeral Mass in St David’s Church Johnstown on Saturday, January 26. May he rest in peace.

45 CARD DRIVE

Please note that the 45 Card Games has resumed on Friday nights. A very successful 45 Card Drive is ongoing in the Coolgreany Inn on each Friday night at 8.30 p.m., everyone is very welcome to come along for a good night of craic at the cards, and some lovely finger food thrown in for good measure. So please join us if you enjoy a game of 45.

GAA HEALTHY CLUB

A five-week session of yoga with Maura is under way on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the club house in Castletown. To book text Maura at 087 7866349.

Chair Yoga with Sarah has resumed on Mondays at 10.45 a.m. in the Anchor Bar (side door into the function room) for a six weeks session. No need to book just come along and give it a go. Chair yoga lessens the impact of chronic illnesses and pain. It reduced stress and improves mental health. It is particular­ly good for anyone wanting to improve flexibilit­y and strengthen their joints after injury or illness.

If yoga is not your thing, why not come along on Thursday nights for some SOSA dance fitness. Low impact, high energy and tonnes of fun.
