Kildavin-Clonegal Drama Group are busy rehearsing their production of ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’ by Jimmy Keary the play will take to the stage on Saturday, Sunday and Saturday, February 9, 10, and 16, in Spellman Hall, Kildavin. So make a note in your diary where a night of entertainment and laughter guaranteed.

KILDAVIN NS

Enrolment forms for Kildavin National School for 2019/2020 school year are available from the school office, please contact 053 9376456.

Grandparents Day celebrated on Wednesday, January 30, and we in Kildavin National School are celebrating this by holding a prayer service in the school. Prayer service will begin at 2 p.m.

CLONEGAL NS

St Brigid’s NS Clonegal are now accepting enrolments for September 2019. Forms are available on school website clonegalns.com or from the school office. Please return forms to school before the end of February.

Clonegal NS will celebrate Grandparents Day on Wednesday, January 30. A ceremony will be held in St Bridget’s Church. After the ceremony, grandparents will attend the school and talk to the children in the various classes followed by a cuppa.

NATIONAL PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS.

From September 17 to September 19, up to 280,000 people will visit Ballintrane, Fenagh for the National Ploughing Championships. While local hotels, self-catering premises and B&B’s will cater for many visitors, there is a definite requirement for additional accommodation in the local area.

GAA CLUB DRAW

Kildavin-Clonegal GAA Club are currently selling GAA National Club Draw tickets, cost only €10. The first prize is a Renault Clio; second prize €2,000 Holiday Voucher followed by 18 other prizes, including all-Ireland Final packages and retail vouchers. There is also five €100 prizes for Kildavin-Clonegal GAA Club supporters.
