BEREAVEMEN­T

It is with deep shock and sadness that we report the sudden and untimely death of the late Seán Byrne, Raheenaske­agh (and formerly Killagown) that occurred on Monday, January 28. Seán, a most popular and helpful individual who was deeply involved in all aspects of parish life, was well-known as a most efficient secretary of Oulart Community Centre, secretary of Oulart Vintage Group and Registrar/ treasurer of the Wexford/Wicklow Vintage Group.

The sympathy of the community is extended to his brother Pat, sister-in-law Maureen and their family, Cong, Co. Mayo, nieces and nephew, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. Seán Byrne was laid to rest in Oulart Cemetery after his funeral Mass on Thursday, January 31. Solas na bhFlaithea­s dá anam dílis.

Month’s mind Mass for the repose of the soul of the late Bernadette (Bernie) McClean-Gazzard will be held in St Cormac’s Church, Boolavogue on Friday, February 8, at 8 p.m.

ADULT SCÓR

The Senior Scór GAA Talent competitio­n will take place in Carrig-on-Bannow Community Centre on Friday, February 8, at 7.30 p.m. Details of the Scór Quiz will be announced soon.

SCOIL MOCHUA NOTES

Enrolment Forms, for junior infants and any other pupils who wish to start school in September 2019, are available from the school office, 9 a.m. to 2.40 p.m. Parents/Guardians are advised to complete and submit enrolment forms as soon as possible.
