ST PATRICK’S GAA

St Patrick’s GAA will be hosting our Strictly Club Dancing Fundraiser on November 8 in the Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey, Doors open from 7 p.m. with dancing commencing at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any of the dancers involved, Orla Furlong, Emma Morris, Gary Curley, Goslins Bar Ballycanew, The Ramble Inn Ballycanew and Jack’s Tavern Camolin.

Our very brave and committed dancers on the night are as follows, Katie Byrne and Michael Byrne, Fionnuala Browne and John Higgins, Ger Stafford and Helena Roche, Ciaran and Mary Murphy, Susan Pickup and John Herbie Mcguire, Donna Gardiner and Pauric Doyle, Adam Goff and Rachel Brady, Tommy and Lucy James, Emma Carton and Micheál Rowesome, Jack Quinn and Caoimhe Doyle.

We at St Patrick’s GAA Club thank them sincerely along with all those who have helped out or contribute­d with the strictly preparatio­ns and wish them all good luck on the night. Preparatio­ns then turn to the final night where we take on our near neighbours Clonee Ladies’ Football Club on November 22 in the Amber Springs Hotel.

The Ballycanew community Resource Centre will be open weekday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Please support this new service in the village.

Gorey bus links timetable, six days a week. Outbound Monday to Saturday Ballycanew Roundabout 9.23 a.m., Return Ballycanew Roundabout SeptJune 1.48 p.m. and 5.48 p.m., Free Travel Pass accepted and Single Fare is €5.
