VINTAGE CLUB AGM

The annual general meeting of the Coolgreany Vintage Club was held in the May Byrne House last Wednesday night where a very large number attended. Secretary Geraldine O’Rafferty gave a very full report on the past year’s activities, which was followed by a comprehensive treasurers report from Alan Flood, both of which were adopted.

The chairman Dan Kennedy read his report which outlined the very successful Vintage Day and also included the recent car/tractor run which was an outstanding success, and told the meeting he was not seeking re-election for 2020.

Following those reports was the election of Officers: Philip Sharpe was elected as chairman for the coming year, with Seán Kealy returned as vice-chairman, Geraldine O’Rafferty was returned as secretary, and Aisling Leonard was elected as Assistant secretary, and Alan Flood returned as treasurer for the coming year also.

At the conclusion Dan Kennedy thanked everyone for their support over the last two years and handed over to Philip Sharpe.
