The AGM of Old Kilnenor Historical Society will take place on Thursday, December 12, at 8 p.m. upstairs in May Byrne Trust House in Coolgreany, please use the side entrance.

SHEEP KILL

A large number of Sheep were killed, and more number were seriously mauled in the Ballykilty on last Friday because of a dog attack. Unfortunately for the owner, no one seems to have seen or heard anything, If anyone is aware of or seen anything he owner is appealing to people to call the Gardaí in Gorey or Arklow.

COOLGREANY INN

The local community extend their good wishes to Alan Flood, who has leased and reopened the Coolgreany Inn on last Sunday, November 24, and he is wished every success and will operate in the same way as the previous owners did before.

GOLDEN CIRCLE SOCIAL GROUP

On Sunday, December 8, we have our Christmas Dinner and dance at the Arklow Bay Hotel, doors open 2 p.m., dinner served at 3 p.m., cost €25, this is a full four course Turkey and ham, traditional Christmas Dinner, Contact Gertie at 083 4042746 to book any trip or event.
