GAA NOTES

Well deserved recognition for our underage season in Co Wexford with the presentation of runners-up for Ballynastragh Gaels boys while the Ballynastragh Gaels camogie club went one step further winning club of the year. A massive well done to the players mentors and parents.

The high numbers of players high standard of play and eventual success is the result of boys and girls training and playing from nursery age. Add in Rackard league and cup camps and already the players have played more games and attended more training sessions than adult players did in their lifetime not so long ago. If there were a girls club of the year also, our girls might easily win that too. Quality players quality coaches.

The Kilanerin-Ballyfad club AGM takes place in KCC at eight PM on Friday, December 13. Any nominations or motions to Tara Fleming asap.
