Mouthwatering finals down for decision this week

THE two semi-finals of the Black and Amber unraced stake featured on Monday night and this week’s final looks a very hot race indeed this Friday night and the card will feature no less than five finals, so a great night’s racing is in prospect.

It could be a very good night for trainer Anton Butler, Rathaspick, as he has probable favourite Little Jumiera in the first of the finals, the A7, and then he is doubly represented in the Cushie Jet A3 bitch stake final and again he is likely to have the favourite in the shape of Clongeen Daisy running from trap six.

The Black and Amber Unraced final will see Kereight Henry go off favourite as he won the battle last week with Its My Luck in the quickest of the semi-finals but there may not be too much between them again this time and with Ratheden Yevande coming on strong from half way it has all the ingredients of an exciting race.

Michael Whelan looks to have the answer to the Christmas Parties unraced final as his Mikey’s Mint was an easy winner of her semi and a similar run should be enough to take this nice prize.

The Ballinclare Kennels a 5/6 stake is an open enough looking final and trapping will be vital to who picks up this nice purse.
